Congratulations on completing the 14Four program!
The 14Four Team knows what a difficult process this can be, and we’re incredibly proud of your accomplishment. You should be too.
A few things you should do after finishing the 14Four:
- Fill in your Measurements worksheet to see how your body has changed.
- Complete the Exit Quiz view how your symptoms improved.
- Post to the Facebook group! We want to hear how the 14Four program went for you.
Here’s what you shouldn’t do after finishing the 14Four:
- Don’t go back to how you were eating before you’ll end up with the same problems you had when you started the 14Four
- Don’t give up the exercise, stress relief, and sleep regimens you worked so hard on find a way to continue incorporating them into your lifestyle
- Don’t stay on the 14Four program indefinitely you’ll need to personalize the diet based on your needs
- Don’t give up if you didn’t get the results you wanted or if you didn’t follow it 100%
So what’s next?
If you didn’t follow the 14Four…
- Try again!
- Get support from family, friends, and the 14Four Facebook group
- Make sure to prepare properly so that you have the items you need to complete the challenge it makes the 14Four program much easier
If you successfully completed the 14Four, you have four options:

Continue with the 14Four
This option is for people who have improved somewhat, but not as much as they would have liked. For example, you may have lost some weight but still have a lot more to go or feel your allergies have improved but could be better. If this sounds like you, you’ll want to extend your 14 day program by 24 weeks, for a total of 46 weeks on the program. You can reuse the meal plan if you’d like, or make up your own recipes with 14Four approved ingredients. Once you do this, move on to option 2.

Read The Paleo Cure for long-term personalization
The 14Four is a standardized diet, so it doesn’t take into account your personal health conditions, goals, and nutritional needs. It’s a great starting place and can get you a lot of improvement to begin with, but it’s best to personalize it after you’ve been on it for a few weeks. My book The Paleo Cure goes into great detail about how to personalize a Paleo diet. I highly recommend that you go through the reintroduction phase I discuss in the book and make additional alterations depending on any diseases or conditions you may have.
